Shubman Gill is one of the players who is regarded as a future superstar. He is seen playing in all three formats for the country. In the previous edition of the IPL, Gill had a phenomenal season, scoring 890 runs in 17 matches.
One of his hundreds came against Royal Challengers Bangaluru, when he scored 104 out of just 52 deliveries. He added 123 runs along with Vijay Shankar, who scored 35 of 53.
Speaking about the same on Jio cenima, Gill said, “I think this is the most hated partnership in the IPL (laughs with Vijay Shankar). Even on the Indian team, Siraj (who plays for RCB) told me that they don’t talk about my innings as much as they do about Vijay. He was playing anything.”
Gill is also known for his witty remarks.
Recently, a video was shared on social media when Gill had an interaction with famous singer Ed Sheeran during his conversation with Gill. ED Sheeran came to know that Gill also played for Shahrukh Khan’s IPL franchise. ED Sheeran told Gill that he was going for a dinner at Shahrukh Khan’s place. To which Gill replied, “Ask him why they did not retain me?”.
The singer even went further to ask Gill, Do you have a girlfriend? to which Gill replied, “No.”
