The Chennai Super Kings Star Batter To Enter Politics May Contest Lok Sabha Elections

The former Indian batter Amabati Rayudu who played for Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2023 retired from all formats of the game after the final against Gujarat Titans at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. After this, the middle-order batter is looking to play his second inning and now he will be seen in Major League Cricket of the USA. He will play for Texas Super Kings, a team that is run by the owners of Chennai Super Kings.

Meanwhile, there has been a piece of news that suggests that Ambati Rayudu is looking to join politics to contest the Lok Sabha Elections. Rayudu had two meetings with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is also the chief of the YSRCP party. Noticing these recent meetings, fans as well as the media are speculating Rayudu to get into the political party.

As per a report in The Times of India, it is stated that Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his desire for Rayudu to take part in the upcoming elections. However, the specific details regarding whether Rayudu would be featured in the assembly or Lok Sabha polls are still on hold.

The report also claims that many senior politicians want Rayudu to contest Assembly elections from Ponnur or Guntur West region and for the Lok Sabha election he should go to Machilipatnam.

Ambati Rayudu also had some words of praise for Jagan Reddy and said, “CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is a big inspiration for youngsters entering politics. He is spearheading development in all the regions instead of concentrating on one area.”
