‘Team India Is Divided – KL Rahul’, Know The Reason

On Sunday, December 18, the FIFA World Cup 2022’s last game will occur. Argentina and France, the current World Cup champions, will square off in the summit match. Given that France is a very powerful squad and is also capable of winning the championship, this game will be Lionel Messi’s final opportunity to realize his ambition of winning the FIFA World Cup.

At the post-game press conference on Sunday (December 18), after India defeated Bangladesh by a score of 188 runs in the first Test of a two-match series, stand-in Indian men’s cricket team captain KL Rahul was also questioned about the hotly contested match that is currently taking place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium.

India won the first Test of a two-match series against Bangladesh to increase their prospects of competing in the ICC World Test Championship final. After defeating Bangladesh, the Men in Blue moved up to position No. 3 in the points standings. Australia later benefited from South Africa’s defeat, moving up another spot to claim position No. 2 in the standings.

After the game, KL Rahul showed up to the press conference. In addition to being questioned about the India-Bangladesh match, he was also asked about the mood in the Indian dressing room for the forthcoming FIFA World Cup final. He responded with a humorous statement.

He said, “Whichever team we were supporting is all out already. There were few Brazil fans, there were few England fans. So, I don’t know who is an Argentina or France supporter, so we’ll just enjoy the game. We’re watching the game together, and we’ll have a good meal.

As I said five days after a game is tiring, so enjoy tonight, and watch the game. Final of the World Cup, and we all love football. Most of you have seen we’re always playing football, before warmups, even back in the room.”

He further added, “FIFA was big early on but the boys have relaxed a bit, there are other priorities, so it’ll be interesting to watch the game today. We will be divided a little bit, that’s what makes watching sports fun.”
