The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League will begin its 2023 season. This year’s tournament will be played in a home-away format which was interrupted due to Covid-19 for three years.
With the arrival of IPL once again to its original format, BCCI has planned to make this event great in the presence of filmy superstars. As speculated, the superstar actress from South India, Tamannaah Bhatia will be performing live during the opening ceremony of IPL 2023.
The ceremony will take place at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad where Chennai Super Kings and Gujarat Titans will face each other. The dance performance and events will start at 6 PM and will go on till the toss at 7 PM onwards.
The official Twitter handle of the Indian Premier League announced Tamannaah Bhatia and wrote, “Join @tamannaahspeaks in the incredible #TATAIPL Opening Ceremony as we celebrate the biggest cricket festival at the biggest cricket stadium in the world – Narendra Modi Stadium! 31st March 2023 – 6 PM IST on @StarSportsIndia & @JioCinema Make sure to tune in & join!”
