Five teams are participating in the first season of the Women’s Premier League. All the matches of this season will be played in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai between 4th and 26th of March.

Mumbai Indians will play their first match against Gujarat Titans on 4th March. The women’s team of Mumbai Indians has started preparations for the Women’s Premier League in full swing. The team has shared some pictures on its Twitter handle, in which many team players are seen.

The captain of the Mumbai team is Harmanpreet Kaur. She has been bought by the team for Rs 1 crore 80 lakhs. The team of Mumbai Indians has made Charlotte Edwards the head coach of the team. The team’s bowling coach and mentor, Jhulan Goswami, has been made. The responsibility of the batting coach has been delegated to Devika Palshikar, and Lydia Greenway is the fielding coach.

Mumbai Indians have revealed the look of their jersey. The Mumbai team unveiled the jersey through its official Twitter account and wrote, “It’s what superheroes wear – our first-ever #WPL jersey, and we love it.”

The color of the jersey of Mumbai Indians (Mumbai Indians Jersey WPL) is light blue, on which there is a dark golden border on the side. During this, the franchise wrote in the caption on Instagram, “Here is our first #WPL jersey, in which the sun, sea and blue and gold are all mixed.”
