T20 World Cup 2024: Ireland Announce 15-member Squad, This Veteran Captain

Cricket Ireland has announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 and they have named Paul Stirling as their captain. They also put on the three T20I squads for upcoming matches – against Pakistan, in a triangular series with Scotland, the Netherlands, and for the T20 World Cup. Each squad includes 14 players, and pacer Josh Little has been added to the T20 World Cup squad.

In Group A of the tournament, Ireland competes alongside India, Pakistan, the USA, and Canada. The squad comprises veteran players such as Stirling, Andrew Balbirnie, and George Dockrell. Ireland’s batting lineup also consists of Harry Tector, Lorcan Tucker, Ross Adair, and Curtis Campher. Mark Adair will team up with left-arm seamer Little to spearhead the pace attack.
