Pakistan who is already on the verge of elimination from the T20 World Cup 2022 has got another setback before the clash against South Africa. The experienced batter Fakhar Zaman who was not fully fit is now officially ruled out from the T20 World Cup 2022 due to a knee Injury.
According to media reports, during the last match against Netherlands, Fakhar Zaman’s heel was twisted, due to which he will not be able to play the match against South Africa and doubtful for the remaining tournament matches.
The match to be held on 3 November (Thursday) will be do or die for the Pakistan cricket team. If Pakistan loses to South Africa in this match to be played in Perth, then its dream of reaching the semi-finals will be shattered for the men in green.
The team already had some serious setbacks after two consecutive losses against India and Zimbabwe.
If Pakistan has to be there in the semifinal then they have to win both their remaining matches and at the same time their eyes will be on the results of the other matches.
