Suryakumar Yadav Surpassed AB de Villiers Achieved Another Milestone In T20I

Indian stalwart Suryakumar Yadav is again in the news. He scored 24 runs off 13 balls with the help of 2 sixes and one four. He achieved a special achievement with his small but valuable innings. Suryakumar has left behind the former African batter AB de Villiers in terms of scoring the most runs in the T20I format.

AB de Villiers played 78 matches, 1672 runs in 75 innings at an average of 26.12, with a strike rate of 135.16 for South Africa in the T20 format between 2006 and 2017, and 10 half-century innings came out of his bat. At the same time, Surya has left de Villiers behind after playing an inning of 24 runs in Ahmedabad.

Not only AB de Villiers but Suryakumar Yadav has also left behind former Zimbabwean cricketer Hamilton Masakadza in terms of scoring the most runs in the T20 format. Masakadza played 66 matches for his team in T20, scoring 1662 runs at an average of 25.96. Whereas Surya has now got 1675 runs.

Suryakumar Yadav has played 48 matches for the Indian team till now. He has scored 1675 runs in 46 innings at an average of 46.53. Yadav has three centuries and 13 fifties in his name in the T20 format. His strike rate in the shortest format of cricket is 175.76.
