According to PTI, Jaiswal sent a request to the Mumbai Cricket Association on Tuesday, and they quickly gave him the green light.
Later that day, some news suggested there might be shifts happening in the Mumbai team, with rumors that Suryakumar Yadav could also make a similar move. Jaiswal is actually the third player from Mumbai to join Goa recently, following Arjun Tendulkar and Siddhesh Lad, who both made the switch before the 2022-23 season. The last time Jaiswal played for Mumbai was in a Ranji Trophy match against Jammu and Kashmir from January 23-25, where he didn’t score very well.
