Star Indian Opener Announced His Retirement From All Format Of Cricket

Veteran Indian opening batter Murali Vijay has announced his retirement from international cricket. Murali Vijay announced this on social media on the afternoon of 30th January 2023 and also thanked his fans for their love and support.

Murali Vijay has played 61 Test matches for India, in which he has scored 3982 runs. In these, he scored runs at an average of 38.28, with 12 centuries and 15 half-centuries. Murali Vijay also played 17 ODIs and 9 T20 matches for India.

Murali Vijay gave this information from his official Twitter handle by posting a photo. Which, he thanked the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Chemplast Sanmar for giving him opportunities to play for them.

Murali also thanked his teammates, staff, coaches, and mentors. And also gave a special thanks to his fans for supporting him.

Murali Vijay made his debut for India in the year 2008, and in 2018 he played the last Test match. Murali Vijay, 38, has been counted among the stylish opening batter of Team India.
