The Sunrisers Hyderabad team has changed its captain this time. He has appointed Aiden Markram as the new captain of the team. Captain Markram will not be able to play the opening match for Hyderabad because of national duty. In such a situation, Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be seen captaining the team in the first encounter against Rajasthan.
Markram is part of the South African team for the 2-match ODI series against the Netherlands, so he will not be able to play in his first match of the IPL. For the World Cup 2023, South Africa needs to register a win against the Netherlands. The last match of this series will be played on 2nd April. However, Markram will join the team after this match and be seen captaining the team in the second IPL match of Hyderabad held on 7th April.
