However, Indian star batter Virat Kohli returned to his form at the right time. He had hit a century after 1020 days against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022. After that blistering innings, Virat showed some vintage batting in the home series against Australia and South Africa. Indian star batter will be the key player for the Indian team in the mega event.
While talking to Dainik Jagaran, South African legend Jacques Kallis shared his thoughts on Kohli’s performance in the World Cup. He said he would be the key player in the World Cup and most impressive against Pakistan.
“Kohli has been playing international cricket for a long time, so he has enough experience. The drop and rise in form is part of the game, and I think he will play a key role and leave his impact in the T20 World Cup,” said Jacques Kallis.
