The former Indian captain and ex BCCI president Sourav Ganguly has been one of the best observers of the game. After leaving the BCCI President’s post Ganguly has now spoken about the ongoing ICC men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
The Indian legend has picked his semifinalists of the T20 World Cup and backed Rohit Sharma’s side to win the trophy. Apart from India, Ganguly named another three names which he thinks will qualify into the semi-finals.
While having a conversation with India today, Ganguly said,”What happened before, there is no point discussing that. India will be one of the favorites to win the tournament. In the World Cup, the fight is completely different. Those teams who will play well in those two-three weeks will make the mark. Look, it’s hard to say before but we have a good side. Big hitters are there. In the T20 format, form is very crucial in those hours.”
He further added,”I will choose India, South Africa, Australia, and England. South Africa is a good bowling side and that will be a factor in Australia.”
