Gill stated that they don’t expect to drop so many catches in every match, and he commended the bowlers for their key role in the win.
Gill said that they had correctly addressed all the issues discussed after the first game, and the team’s bowling and fielding were good. India knew that scoring 400-500 runs on this pitch would keep them competitive. He also mentioned that the fast bowlers were great and were able to get through the top order.
