The Resistance Front responsible for carrying out the attack, announced that it was linked to the Pakistan-based terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba and has sparked outrage all over India with demands to take action against Pakistan, which is said to harbor terrorists, in connection with the incident. Even more controversially for Afridi, he said that India always blames Pakistan and went on to classify the Pahalgam attack as typical of such incidents.
