Sehwag takes a massive jibe at Amit Mishra for this reason

The former Indian captain had a little fun at his old fellow Amit Mishra during a live YouTube chat when the host asked him if there is still hope for SRH to make it to the playoffs. Hyderabad is struggling at second-from-bottom, managing only two wins from their first eight matches, and lost to the Mumbai Indians on Thursday.

On Cricbuzz, after the match, Mishra was in no mood to answer that. He went on to say about Chennai Super Kings and their possibility of making it to the playoffs. Mishra said, I think it is almost impossible. Given the way they are performing, there should be no expectations of winning all six matches. They need improvement in every area. If Dhoni bats higher up the order, he should have at least 30 balls, with all due respect to their top order.

Sehwag chimed in and said that the question was on SRH, not on Dhoni or CSK. Mishra quickly apologized, and Sehwag quipped, It’s all because of Dhoni’s aura.

On the other hand, Pat Cummins, captain of SRH, accepted the fact that there was no stability in their innings and lost the match by seven wickets against MI. Cummins also added that their innings were short but gave credit to Heinrich Klaasen and Abhinav Manohar for putting up a decent score for SRH and that it was not enough. Abhinav and Klassy got us to a good total, but we could not hold up in this innings, Cummins said, referring to SRH’s early collapse to 35 for 5. We needed someone to steady the ship.

Once again, the SRH will be playing CSK on Friday in Chennai. The two teams are again on a loss streak, having only recorded two wins overall this season and are comfortably at the bottom of the rankings.
