While many players have spoken against the impact player rule, the young batter from the Punjab Kings feels that the impact player is a golden chance for young players to show their talent and skills.
In his post-match presentation ceremony, Prabhsimran Singh said, “I see impact players as a chance for young players.”
The young batter was the first to set the tempo for such a high-run chase, scoring 54 of just 20 deliveries. The young player said that the team was motivated in spite of the losses.
Prabhsimran said, “The coaches kept us motivated even when we lost matches. They knew our potential and what we could do, so the environment was fine. The belief was there in the dressing room in the run chase, because if we can go for this many runs, they can as well.”.
