Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan has opened up on the rumors of her dating the star Indian batter Shubman Gill. Recently, the actress joined Ananya Pandye for the special episode of “Koffee With Karan” where she grabbed the headlines for sensationally clarifying the rumor.
There have been ongoing speculations about the two of them being in a romantic relationship for some time now. However, neither of them had openly commented on the matter until this particular episode. The revelation occurred when the show’s host, Karan Johar, posed the direct question.
While replying to the rumors, Sara Ali Khan said, “You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peeche pada hai (The whole world is after the wrong Sara).” The actress said that Shubman Gill is currently dating the daughter of the legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.
Sara didn’t just stop addressing the dating rumors; she continued to be candid. When questioned about the prospect of marrying a cricketer, akin to her grandmother Sharmila Tagore, she made it evident that a person’s profession doesn’t impact her choices. She stressed the significance of mental and intellectual compatibility, asserting that her partner could belong to any profession.
“I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away. But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession),” she added.
