Sanju Samson Likely To Be Ruled Out From The 2nd T20I vs Sri Lanka, Know Why?

India won the first T20I against Sri Lanka at Wankhede by 2 runs. The second game of the three-match T20I series will be played in Pune but before it news regarding Sanju Samson is popping up in the headlines.

The young Indian wicketkeeper batter has niggle on the knee and the batter has not traveled with the team Indian Cricket team members to Pune. While the team has already reached Pune, Sanju is still there in the hotel and he will go under scan in Mumbai only.

The reports claim that the injury was caused as he attempted a diving catch in the very first over of the Sri Lankan inning in Tuesday’s game. Sanju Samson caught that ball but he could not hold it in his hand after falling to the ground.

After the attempt to catch, Sanju Samson later noticed some swelling, and then he was advised for medical leave before the 2nd T20I.

Talking about the performance with the bat, Sanju Samson managed to get five runs off 6 balls before getting out against Dhananjaya de Silva.
