Sachin Tendulkar Reacted After England Won The T20 World Cup 2022 Title

The 2019 ODI World Champions lifted the title of the T20 World Cup. They have conquered the trophy by defeating the Pakistani team and ended the drought of 12 years.

This win of the English team was not easy but the magical spell of Young all-rounder Sam Curran of 3/12, helped to restrict the dangerous Babar Azam & Co. on just 137 runs. While chasing veteran left-handed batter Ben Stokes played a clinical knock of unbeaten 52 runs off 49 deliveries helped to chase down the total in the 19th over.

Young fast bowling all-rounder Sam Curran was awarded “player of the match” and was also announced as the “player of the tournament”. He has taken 13 wickets in 6 innings with an impressive economy of 6.52 in this tournament.

Currently, Jos Buttler & Co. is getting praised from all over the world. Congratulating the English side, Indian legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar stated the victory a ‘fantastic Achievement’.

“Congratulations England on winning your 2nd @T20WorldCup. Fantastic achievement. It was a closely fought final and would’ve been even more interesting had Afridi not been injured. What a roller coaster of a World Cup” Sachin Twitted.

Sachin Tendulkar also mentioned the name of premium Pakistani pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, who was looking dangerous in his first two overs, but in the 12th over of the match, he suffered an injury while taking the tough catch of Harry Brooks and left the field.

When the match turned to a crucial moment and English side still needed 41 runs off 28 balls. Shaheen came to bowl but he wasn’t able to walk properly and once again left the ground, and Iftikar Ahmed bowled the rest of the deliveries of the 16th over and conceded 13 runs, which was the turning point of the match.
