SA vs IND, 3rd ODI: Sanju Samson Smashed His Maiden ODI Hundred, Includes Six Fours And Three Sixes

In the third ODI between India and South Africa, India posted a total of 296 runs in 50 overs at the loss of eight wickets. In this match, the wicket-keeper batter Sanju Samson got his first ODI hundred.

In this match, South African captain Aiden Markram won the toss and elected to bowl first. The right-handed batter Rajat Patidar(22) made his ODI debut and came to open the innings with Sai Sudharsan(10). After the departure of Rajat Patidar, Samson came to bat at number three and smashed 108 runs in 114 balls which included six fours and three sixes.

Indian left-handed batter Tilak Varma had a good outing as well and he got 52 runs in 77 balls with a good cameo of Rinku Singh who smashed 38 runs in just 27 balls.

For South Africa, Beuran Hendricks got three wickets, while Nandre Burger smashed two wickets. Keshav Maharaj, Wiaan Mulder, and Williams managed to get one wicket each.

Sanju Samson has played 16 matches in ODI since his debut in 2021. In 14 innings of 16 matches, he has scored 510 runs with an average of 56.67, with three half-centuries and one hundred to his name.
