The Mumbai Indians played their first game against the Rajasthan Royals. After the loss in their opening two matches, Hardik Panda’s brigade was in need of a desperate victory.

The ex-Mumbai Indians skipper registered his 17th duck overall in the IPL, which is joint most alongside Dinesh Karthik, followed by Piyush Chawala, who has 16 ducks to his name.
Apart from Trent Boult, Rajasthan Royals Spin Grandmaster Yuzi Chahal further added to the misery of the Mumbai Indians, who picked up three wickets in the middle overs, giving away just 11 runs.
The Mumbai Indians were reduced to 125/9 in their 20 overs as only two of their batters crossed the 30-run mark, which included Hardik Pandya (34) and Tilak Verma (32).
