Rohit Sharma Talks On The Playing Combination For Team In The 5th Test Against England

The Indian team is set to compete in the fifth Test against England in Dharamshala starting Thursday, sparking yet another round of speculation regarding the team composition for Rohit Sharma and his company.

While numerous anticipations revolve around the wicket-favoring spinners, the weather conditions and recent Ranji Trophy matches suggest support for the pacers. On the eve of the final Test, Captain Rohit clarified that although the team combination remains uncertain, there is a possibility of including an additional fast bowler.

While having a conversation with News18, Rohit Sharma said, “There is a good chance to play extra seamer. We have not completely decided on it, but there is a good chance.”

If team India is looking to go with an extra pacer, it could be Akash Deep, who grabbed three wickets in his debut match and he also holds extra pace.

He also talked about the pitch and weather conditions of Dharamsala, he said, “I have not played a Test match here in Dharamshala. Both seamers and spinners played back in the 2017 Test. Looking at the pitch, it looks like a good one. It will be a typical Indian pitch with some movement at the start and some towards the end.”
