Rohit Sharma Got Injury Sacre In The Second ODIs Match Against Bangladesh

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma hurt his left thumb while fielding in the second ODI against Bangladesh. He rushed to the hospital for the scan, and BCCI officially provided this information from their Twitter handle.

“Update: India Captain Rohit Sharma suffered a blow to his thumb while fielding in the 2nd ODI. The BCCI Medical Team assessed him. He has now gone for scans,” BCCI Tweeted.

This happened on the fourth ball of the match when he was standing in slip, and the ball of Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj took the edge of opener batter Anamul Haque Bijoy’s bat. Rohit tried his best to take the catch, but the ball hit the wrong spot of his hand and bounced, and Rohit got left-hand thumb injured. Rohit was seen grimacing in pain and left the ground.

Vice-captain KL Rahul took over the captaincy role, and the Indian team performed fabulously in the match. The current score of the Bangladeshi team is 56/3 after 12 overs.
