Indian captain Rohit Sharma has shared two special stories on his official Instagram handle as he completed 16 years in international cricket. Rohit Sharma made his international debut by playing his first ODI match against Ireland in 2007 on June 23. Currently, Sharma is leading the team in all three formats of cricket.
In the first post he shared on his Instagram story, there we see the creation of two pics of Rohit Sharma. The pic in the front depicts his current look while that at the back is from those days when Rohit Sharma started playing cricket for India.
The second one is a video story in which all the major achievements of Rohit Sharma have been shown. The highlighted part of this small clip is Rohit Sharma’s double hundred and then winning the IPL trophy for Mumbai Indians.
Rohit Sharma did not have an impressive start to his career and he failed with the bat on many occasions. However, Sharma played some good knocks during the 2007 T20 World Cup where India lifted the trophy under the captaincy of MS Dhoni. But he could not carry his form and disappointed everyone with his batting even after getting several chances.

This decision proved to be a turning point for Rohit and gave him immense success as one of India’s finest opening batsmen in history.
