Superstar all-rounder Hardik Pandya is known for his consistent explosive batting as well as his wicket-taking abilities. He gave his views during the talk with the ICC Review interview. He could not choose between the two. He thinks Hardik is better with the ball and could make a big impact in the game. But at the same time, he also thinks Maxwell with his bat can do wonders for his team. So, in the match-up between Hardik Pandya and Glen Maxwell, he called a draw to the contest.
He said, ” In the recent Hardik has been his best. I think he can make more impact with the ball. He can perform with his bat too. Maxwell bats way down the batting order in the T20Is. But I think Maxwell will make more runs than Hardik in the World T20 (in Australia). But Hardik will take more wickets. So I call it a draw.”
India is playing against Australia in a 3-match T20I series where Australia won the first match. But in that match, Hardik Pandya blazed through the Australian attack and scored 71 runs only in 30 balls. Whereas Glen Maxwell was dismissed just for 1 run. The second match to be played on Friday will be a do-or-die match for India to save the series.
