Team India is all set for a clash against England for the fourth time in the series, as the teams will face each other in Ranchi on February 23.
However, team India received a major blow ahead of their fourth clash against England as team India star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is all set to miss the fourth test in Ranchi.
As per the latest buzz, India has reached Ranchi for their fourth test, but Jasprit Bumrah has not traveled to Ranchi along with the team.
It was expected that Bumrah would be rested for the fourth match of the series because of the workload management of the pacer. The star bowler has already bowled more than 80 overs across the six innings in the test match.
Jasprit Bumrah has picked up 17 wickets in the three test matches and has been phenomenal with the ball throughout the series. He has been able to pick wickets for Team India whenever needed and has been able to break partnerships at crucial stages of the match.
Bumrah was exceptional in the second test match in Vizag, as he picked up nine wickets in the second test match of the series, which was played in Vizag.
It will be interesting to see, without Bumrah, what kind of pitch will be up for India and England’s clash for the fourth time in the series.
It will be interesting to see what line-up Team India will go with moving into the test match, as Mukesh Kumar and Akashdeep are in the pecking order to replace the star blower.
