Record Alert: Rohit Sharma Breaks Huge Records Of Sachin Tendulkar And Sourav Ganguly

While batting at Rajkot, Rohit Sharma achieved some remarkable records to his name. Surpassing Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit has now reached the fifth position in terms of scoring the most runs for India in international cricket. While captaining for India, Tendulkar has got 4508 runs to his name. He is now ranked behind only Virat Kohli (12883), MS Dhoni (11207), Mohammad Azharuddin (8095), and Sourav Ganguly (7643) in this list.

Rohit Sharma has attained the fourth spot in the list of highest international run-scorers for India, surpassing the former captain Sourav Ganguly, who had scored 18,575 runs in international cricket.

Rohit Sharma has also become the ninth Indian batter to score 2000+ runs against England in international cricket. Before Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni, Rahul Dravid, Sunil Gavaskar, Mohammad Azharuddin, Yuvraj Singh, and Dilip Vengsarkar have reached this milestone.

In this match, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel, both players are making their debut for team India. As KL Rahul and Virat Kohli are out of the team, these youngsters have got a chance to showcase their talent.
