Record Alert: Mukesh Kumar Becomes 2nd Rarest Indian To Achieve This Feat In Cricket History

In the first T20I against West Indies, left-handed batter Tilak Varma and pacer Mukesh Kumar made their T20I debut for India. Mukesh Kumar was also the part of the playing XI for the last Test match and then the ODI series. Now, he made his T20I debut as well. Indian leg spinner Yuzendra Chahal gave him the debut cap.

During his debut, Mukesh accomplished a unique achievement and becomes just the second Indian player after T Natarajan to do so. The fast bowler left his mark in the pages of history by becoming only the second Indian after T Natarajan to make his debut in Test, ODI, and T20I formats all within the same tour.

Apart from Mukesh Kumar, Tilak Varma also got the cap of team.

While batting first, West Indies posted a score of 149 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. The highest run-scorer for the team was Rovman Powell, who contributed the most runs.
