Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj reached a significant milestone in Test Cricket and grabbed his 50th wicket in the longest format of the game. Siraj got Nathan Lyon to achieve this feat. He continued his impressive performance by dismissing Pat Cummins, who was caught out at extra cover, thus concluding Australia’s innings at 469. On the other hand, the veteran Indian fielder Ajinkya Rahane completed his 100th catch in Test Cricket. He took a stunner from Australian captain Pat Cummins to send him pavilion on the bowling of Mohammed Siraj.

Talking about the most catches for India in Test Cricket, Rahul Dravid has 209 on his name, while VVS Laxman has 145 catches. Rahane comes in seventh position in terms of poaching the most catches for India in the longest format of the game.
