Rajasthan Royals and Indian Spin Grandmaster Yuzvendra Chahal once again showed their class in a match against the Mumbai Indians. Chahal bowled a magical spell, picking up three wickets and giving away just 11 runs in his four-over quota.
Chahal’s impressive performance earned him praise from great Australian all-rounder Shane Watson, who was impressed with Chahal’s performance and consistency in the IPL.
In his interaction with Jio Cima, the former Australian all-rounder said, “Yuzvendra Chahal has done it a long period of time in the IPL in international cricket as well. Chahal does not go for many runs, and he gets the best batters out. He continues to do it game after game, year after year, and the Rajasthan Royals are so fortunate to have him.”
Watson even took a jibe at Royal Challengers Bangaluru, who failed to retain Yuzi Chahal before the 2022 mega auction.
Speaking about the same, Watson said, “Today he picked the big wicket of Hardik Pandya, which was in the crucial moment of the game. Yuzi Chahal came out at the top once again. I keep saying this: RCB, why the hell did you let him go?”
Chahal was one of the vital players in RCB’s bowling lineup. Chahal played 114 matches for the franchise, picking up 177 wickets at an average of 21.50.
