RCB vs SRH, IPL 2024: Kevin Pietersen One Line Praise For Dinesh Karthik After His Magnificent 83 Will Surely Win Everyone’s Heart

In the IPL 2024 match against SRH on April 15th, 2024, veteran RCB wicketkeeper-batter Dinesh Karthik impressed fans and other cricketers with his outstanding innings.

The wicket-keeper scored a remarkable 83 runs off just 35 balls, showing incredible batting skills. Karthik hit five fours and seven sixes which clearly shows his potential to go against any kind of bowling attack.

One of the highlights of Karthik’s innings was his record-breaking six, which measured 108 meters, the longest in the IPL 2024 season. This impressive feat not only energized the crowd at the Chinnaswamy Stadium but also emphasized his mastery of the shortest format of cricket.

Bengaluru had to chase down a tough target of 288 runs, the highest-ever IPL score of 287/3. However, Karthik’s outstanding performance almost led Bengaluru to victory. Despite RCB ultimately not reaching the target and ending at 262/7, Karthik’s knock was impressive and earned applause from the Bengaluru crowd.

The former England great Kevin Pietersen was also impressed with the Indian batter and he was praised for his amazing commitment to the game. During his commentary, Pietersen said, “Never seen a commentator bat so well.”

Karthik’s innings against SRH not only showed that he’s a great T20 batsman but also marked an important moment in what he announced as his final IPL season. The wicket-keeper has been a part of the 2007 T20 World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy winning team. In the IPL as well he has scored over 4000 runs.
