Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, has announced the departure of their coaches, Mike Hesson and Sanjay Bangar. The team made the official announcement on Friday (August 4), expressing gratitude for the contributions of both coaches during their tenure.
Mike Hesson, who served as RCB’s Director of Cricket Operations, and Sanjay Bangar, the head coach, played crucial roles in the team’s coaching setup. Despite their efforts, RCB has not secured an IPL title in their 16 years of participation in the prestigious Twenty20 league.
In a Twitter post, RCB commended Hesson and Bangar’s professionalism and work ethics. The team acknowledged their significant contributions in providing a platform for young players to learn and succeed over the past four years.
“Their professionalism and work ethics have always been held in high regard. A number of youngsters were given a platform to learn and succeed in the last four years,” RCB stated in their social media message.
