Ravindra Jadeja Hits Back At Kapil Dev On His ‘Players Have Become Arrogant After Earning Money’ Remarks

Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has reacted to the statement made by Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev. The former Indian captain said that the current players have become arrogant because of the influence of money and the Indian Premier League (IPL). Jadeja countered the claim and said that such questions only come when team India loses any game.

While having an interview with Week Magazine, Kapil Dev also talked about the ego players have these days. He said that with lots of money arrogance can surround a person but it is important to listen to others. He also said that the current players think that they know everything, but it is not so.

Jadeja attended a press conference ahead of the third ODI against West Indies where he said,”I didn’t know when he said this. I don’t search too many things on social media. Everyone has their own opinion. It’s nothing like that. Everybody is enjoying their game and working hard. Players are not taking their place in the team for granted. Whenever they are getting chances, they are giving their 100 percent and trying to win games for India.”

“Such questions crop up when India loses a game. Nobody is arrogant. Everybody is representing India. We are working hard and playing for the country. There is no personal agenda,” he added.

Let us tell you that India is playing a three-match ODI series against West Indies where they lost the second game by six wickets and now the series stands at 1-1 for both the teams.
