Csk honored Ravindra Jadeja with the nickname “Cricket Thalapathy “after his brilliant bowling performance against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Ravindra Jadeja was given this new name by CSK after the star all-rounder said that he hasn’t been given any new name from the fans till now. CSK has named Dhoni “Thala “and Suresh Raina “Chinna Thala.”.
Jadeja had a phenomenal day with the ball. The all-rounder picked up three wickets, giving away just 18 runs in his four overs. Jadeja also now holds a special record after becoming the first player to get 1000+ runs, 100+ wickets, and 100+ catches in the history of the IPL.
Ravindra Jadeja said, “My title hasn’t yet been verified; hopefully they’ll give me one,” the jovial Jadeja said after CSK’s seven-wicket win. ”I always enjoy bowling on this track. I was hoping the ball grips a little, and if you bowl in the right areas, it helps you. For visiting teams, it takes time to settle in and plan.”
This is CSK’s third victory in five matches; earlier, the team had lost two matches, first against the Delhi Capitals and then against Sunrisers Hyderabad. CSK will now play against Arch rivals the Mumbai Indians on April 14.
