Ravindra Jadeja and Shami Ruled Out From The Test Series Against Bangladesh, These 2 New Players Will Get Maiden India Call Up

Team India has got two major setbacks before the Test Series against Bangladesh. Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is yet to recover from his knee injury and he has been ruled out from the upcoming test series. On the other hand, it is also known that the Indian pacer Mohammed Shami is also not good with his fitness.

With the experienced bowlers getting injured before the test series, BCCI has already decided on two names who could replace the star Indian players. According to the sources, Saurabh Kumar and Mukesh Kumar who is also part of the India A team on the Bangladesh tour will make it into the test squad against Bangladesh.

Talking about the incidents, the BCCI official said, “He won’t make it in time for the Test series. Jaddu is also looking difficult. We don’t want to rush their return. Players who are in the A tour will get call-ups for the Test series. Abhimanyu has done well and so does Mukesh and Saurabh. Now, it’s the selectors’ call.”

Jadeja is not with the team for the past four months because of his knee issue which he got during the Asia Cup 2022. On the other hand, there was no such issue with Shami but he injured himself before the first ODI.

Talking about the upcoming test series, Mohammed Siraj leads the Indian pace attack while the shining star pacer of West Bengal, Mukesh Kumar will take the place of Shami in the squad.
