He praised the bowlers for their strong effort and liked the batters’ attitude, even though they made some mistakes.
“It was tough at first—sticky and inconsistent—but we can definitely improve as a batting unit. Partnerships matter; losing wickets quickly is a lesson for us,” he said in the post-match talk. Tim David’s quick 50 off 25 balls helped RCB put up a total of 95 after a rough stretch where they lost seven wickets for just 42 runs. Josh Hazlewood bowled an amazing spell, taking 3 wickets for 14 runs, which gave RCB some hope. But Punjab Kings wrapped up the game with a five-wicket win with 11 balls left during the IPL at M.
