Rajasthan Royals Twitter Hilariously Reply To Cricket Australia’s Funny Tweet Giving A Reference Of Chahal

The official Twitter account of the Rajasthan Royals is far and away the best when it comes to showing their sense of humor on social media. With their funny posts and social media initiatives, the Royals have consistently won over Twitter. Once more, they responded ingeniously to a tweet from Cricket Australia on the second Test between the hosts and South Africa.

Temba Bavuma and Marco Jansen can be seen batting together in the second innings in a matching photo. The tweet stated, obviously making fun of their extreme height disparity.

Here’s the hilarious tweet by Cricket Australia:

The Rajasthan Royals’ official Twitter account responded with a humorous message in response to this. They tweeted, “Jason Holder and Yuzvendra Chahal in the middle of a match-winning partnership during IPL 2023.” The disparity in height between the tall West Indian all-rounder and the shorter Indian leg spinner was also clearly referenced in this.

Here’s what Rajasthan Royals replied:

A busy day was had by Rajasthan Royals at the recently finished IPL 2023 mini-auction. Jason Holder, a West Indian all-rounder, was their most expensive acquisition and cost Rs 5.75 crore. Elite athletes like Joe Root and Adam Zampa, whose base salaries are Rs 1 million and Rs 1.5 crore, respectively, were also retained by them. Others like Donovan Ferreira, Kunal Rathore, Murugan Ashwin, Abdul PA, and Aakash Vashisht were also added.

Rewinding to the second Test between Australia and South Africa, the Proteas managed to score only 189 runs in their first innings while Cameron Green was the standout for the Australian bowling unit with his first-ever Test 5-wicket haul. Australia compiled a huge 575/8 in the second innings, with wicketkeeper Alex Carey collecting his first 100 in the longest version of the game and David Warner recording a remarkable 200 in his 100th Test. Australia won the game by an innings and 182 runs after South Africa was bowled out for 204 in the second inning.
