The honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, wrote a heartfelt message for Yadav and his family. In his note, Narendra Modi mentioned that he was sad to know about the death of Umesh Yadav’s father. He also mentioned the importance of a father in making someone and building a life.
It is noteworthy that Yadav, despite suffering a personal loss, stepped up to command Team India’s pace attack against the Australians in the ongoing Test series.
After the third Test that happened in Indore, Umesh Yadav shared the Prime Minister’s letter on his official Twitter account and wrote, “Thank you, Honourable Prime Minister, @narendramodi ji, for your condolence message on the sad demise of my father. This gesture means a lot to me and my family.”
