Prabhsimran Singh, the opening batter for Punjab Kings, has had a standout season in the IPL 2025. So far, he has scored 517 runs in 15 matches, making him the highest run-scorer among uncapped players in IPL history, surpassing Suryakumar Yadav’s previous record of 512 runs and Ishan Kishan’s 516 runs. Despite his impressive performance, Punjab Kings had a rough match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Qualifier 1. Batting first, they only managed to score 101 runs, with Marcus Stoinis and Azmatullah Omarzai being the only ones to show some fight, scoring 26 and 18 runs, respectively. In the chase, Phil Salt led the charge for Bengaluru with a solid half-century, helping them secure a spot in their fourth IPL final.
