Pietersen Fires Back: Countering CSK Star’s Detractors Before T20 World Cup

Former England great Kevin Peterson slammed the critics of Ravindra Jadeja after Chennai suffered a loss against Lucknow in their own backyard.

In the first encounter between the two sides, Ravindra Jadeja batted at number 4 and scored a fine half-century. However, in the reverse fixture, Jadeja failed to contribute much, with the bat scoring 16 of 19 deliveries.
However, after the match, Kevin Peterson and Michael Clarke came in support of Ravindra Jadeja.

The former England skipper said that Marcus Stoinis deserves all the credit for the kind of innings he played.

Peterson feels that Chennai did everything they could do, and no one can point fingers at Ravindra Jadeja as he is an absolute match winner.

In his interaction with Star Sports, Kevin Peterson said, “You’re 100% right. Also, what you’ve got to do is you’ve got to give credit to Marcus Stoinis.”

“Chennai did everything right. Last night, they got beaten by Marcus Stoinis. It was him, standing alone, scoring one of the great hundreds of the IPL. So forget pointing your fingers. You cannot point a finger at Ravindra Jadeja like I am not having it at all.”
