The former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still one of the most celebrated cricketers even after his retirement from international cricket. Not only fans, but cricketers from other countries also admire him and recently the star leg spinner of Afghanistan Rashid Khan met MS Dhoni in Chennai.
The Afghanistan team is there in Chennai for the clash against Pakistan which will take place on October 23. On Saturday(October 21) Rashid Khan shared a photo with MS Dhoni on social media where both the cricketers met in a hotel room.
In this frame, Dhoni was seen wearing a white T-shirt while the Afghan cricketer was spotted in a white one. Dhoni had been in talk of the town due to his long hair which he used to have during the initial phase of his career.
While sharing the image, Rashid Khan wrote the caption – “Always a pleasure to meet you Mahi bhai.”
Afghanistan is currently in Chennai for their upcoming match, and it’s worth noting that Dhoni frequently visits Chennai for work-related reasons. In addition to his role as the captain of CSK (Chennai Super Kings), Dhoni holds the position of Vice President of Marketing at India Cements, a company based in Chennai and a sponsor of the Super Kings. Furthermore, he was recently spotted in Mumbai for a commercial advertisement shoot.
This year during the IPL 2023, Dhoni guided his team CSK to the fifth title beating Gujarat Titans in the final.
