PCB To Replace Babar Azam As Team’s Captain, This Star To Lead PAK in ODI And Test

It seems nothing is going well between the Pakistan Cricket Board(PCB) and captain Babar Azam. Due to the declining form of Babar Azam in the recent series against England, Australia, and New Zealand, the PCB wants the batter to be the captain in one format only.

PCB will take a bold decision at the end of the home series against New Zealand and they will also look to change the head coach.

PCB chairman Nijam Sethi is already considering Shan Masood to lead Pakistan Cricket Team in ODI and Test, the official confirmation on any decision is yet to arrive by the teams.

Like England, Australia, and New Zealand, Pakistan also wants to have three different captains for three different formats with Shan Masood popping up as the strongest contender for the role.

The reports from Pakistan Cricket Board suggest that the board is looking to change the whole cricket staff which includes fielding, batting, bowling, and assistants as well.

At the moment Pakistan is taking on New Zealand in the second ODI of the three-match ODI Series. Pakistan won the first game by 6 wickets while New Zealand made a strong comeback and won the second match at Karachi by 79 runs.
