PCB picks officials for Bangladesh tests

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the officials for the two-Test series against Bangladesh, which is set to happen in Pakistan this month.

Ranjan Madugalle, a well-respected referee from Sri Lanka and part of the ICC’s top group of referees, will be in charge of overseeing the games for the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 series.

The first Test match will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from August 21 to 25, and the second Test will be at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi from August 30 to September 3. For this important Test series, the umpiring team will consist of three umpires from the ICC’s top group and two from the ICC’s international group.

In Rawalpindi, Richard Kettleborough from England and Adrian Holdstock from South Africa will be the main umpires on the field, with Michael Gough from England acting as the additional umpire. Rashid Riaz from Pakistan will be the fourth umpire for this match.

For the Karachi Test, Michael Gough and Adrian Holdstock will be the main umpires on the field, and Richard Kettleborough will again serve as the additional umpire. Asif Yaqoob from Pakistan will be the fourth umpire for the second Test.
