Pat Cummins Names His Favourite Indian Cricketer, Its Not Rohit Sharma Or Virat Kohli

Pat Cummins is currently in India for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), where he is leading the Sunrisers Hyderabad team in the 17th season of the tournament. Besides his IPL duties, Cummins is the captain of the Australian team in ODIs and Tests. He has a strong track record against India in international cricket. Against India, they won the final of the ICC World Test Championship and Australia defeated Rohit Sharma and his team in the final of the ICC ODI World Cup 2023.

Cummins has often praised star Indian batter Virat Kohli and Indian skipper Rohit Sharma for giving everything to cricket. However, when it came to picking up his favorite Indian cricketer, he named Jasprit Bumrah as the best in India.

While talking to Human Of Bombay, Cummins said, “I am a fast bowler and I would like to go with a pacer. Jasprit Bumrah is my favorite India cricketer.”

Bumrah has grabbed 18 wickets in 12 matches so far in this edition of IPL. He has also received two Player of the Match awards in the current season.

Currently, Virat Kohli leads the batting charts with the Orange Cap, accumulating 542 runs in 11 matches, with one century and four half-centuries to his name. However, Rohit Sharma is encountering difficulties in the premier T20 league. However, all three players, Bumrah, Kohli, and Rohit Sharma are part of the Indian squad for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
