Pakistan’s young star bizarre press conference goes viral all over the internet

A synaptic post-match commentary by Pakistan cricket troupe star Muhammad Haris has become rapidly popular on social media after the Champions One-Day Cup game among Stallions and Markhors. In spite of their one hundred and twenty six runs loss to Markhors, there was a comment made by Stallions’ captain Haris which left many people trolling him on social media. Under-pressure while chasing a target of two hundred and thirty-two runs, Stallions batting line up crumbled down to get bowled out for just one hundred and five. After this game though, everybody was surprised when Haris asserted that they were “happy they lost”. His reasoning was that it enables him to get more information about his team’s performance while also saying that it is out of their plan for them to accurately have an idea regarding themselves all together.

According to Haris, “we did not err at all during this match. We wished to examine how strong our team is.” In the previous game we won the coin toss and opted for batting then only to find ourselves stronger than before, but today we chose the bowling option in order to test our limits. Today I’m actually glad we lost,” he said.

In Karachi, on Tuesday, there will be a five-member delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC), who are there to inspect for next year’s Champions Trophy in Pakistan.

The delegation comprises top officials of the ICC’s Events and Security Departments as well as the General Manager Cricket and Production Manager.

Andy Atkinson has visited Pakistan three times since April as an ICC Pitch Consultant.

According to sources, the tentative tournament schedule that was prepared by Pakistan Cricket Board a few months back will be discussed by ICC Delegates

“This tentative schedule is significant because it features the Indian cricket team staying in Lahore and playing all its games in the city,” said a knowledgeable source.

The source mentioned that there will also be a scenario discussed where the Indian government does not allow Indian citizens to travel to Pakistan.

Before flying to Islamabad and Lahore for similar objectives, the delegation would look into the ongoing construction work in Karachi as well as the arrangements made for their team’s stay at the hotel.

They will also have briefings from security officials in Pakistan, which would be included in the delegation headed by their ICC Security Manager, the source said. The source further stated that it wholly depends on ICC when they finalize and announce the tournament schedule.
