The latest praise came from one of the greatest pace bowlers of all time, Ian Bishop, who has requested that BCCI add Mayank to its fast bowling contract.
Bishop took X and wrote, “Nothing else needs to be seen; add a sixth bowling name to the contract list.”.
The bishop further went on to praise Mayank Yadav for the pace he generates in his deliveries.
Bishop wrote,” “This Mayank Yadav kid is bowling like a child of the wind.”
Earlier, BCCI had announced fast bowling contacts for players like Umran Malik Akashdeep, Vyshak Vijayakumar, and Yash Dayal Vidwath Kaverappa.
Mayank finished with another exceptional figure of 3/14 against Royal Challengers Bangaluru and was awarded the second consecutive Man of the Match for his performance.
Speaking about himself, Mayank said, “It feels really good to get two Player-of-the-Match (awards) in two games, but I’m more happy that we won both games,” he said after the game against RCB. “My aim is to do well for the country for as many years as I can. This is just the start, and my focus is on the main goal.”
