Former Indian all-rounder, Yuvraj Singh is closely watching how Indian players are performing in this year of IPL. He often posts on Twitter about Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill, and Shivam Dube. In the latest IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings, Abhishek and Shivam showed their skills.
Dube played aggressively on a slow pitch at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad and refused to let the slow surface affect his performance.
He scored 45 runs from 24 balls which includes 4 sixes and 2 fours. Meanwhile, Abhishek scored 37 runs from 12 balls, which included 4 sixes and 3 fours.
Yuvraj Singh praised Shivam Dube on social media and even suggested that he should be included in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad.
“Good to watch @IamShivamDube clearing the field with ease !! I feel he has to be in the World Cup squad. Has got the skill to be the #gamechanger,” he wrote.

After joining the Chennai team, the left-handed player improved his game. He didn’t do so well with Royal Challengers Bangalore, but he’s been doing great with both batting and bowling since joining CSK.
In 2023, when Chennai Super Kings lifted the trophy for the fifth time, he scored over 400 runs and has since represented the Indian team. Dube is one of the leading candidates to be part of the squad for the global event in June, which will take place in the West Indies and the United States of America.
