In the 38th match of the IPL 2024, the Rajasthan Royals (RR), led by Sanju Samson, secured an impressive nine-wicket victory over the Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
Rajasthan successfully chased down the 180-run target in just 18.4 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal emerged as the star batsman where he scored an unbeaten 104 runs. While chasing the target, Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler made valuable contributions to the team’s win where they scored 38* and 35 runs respectively.
After the game, former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh praised Sanju Samson and said that he deserves a spot in India’s squad for the upcoming 2024 T20 World Cup based on his performance. He also suggested that Samson should be prepared to lead the Indian team in the future.
