“No disrespect…” Virat Kohli gets a special request from an ex Indian player for the T 20 world Cup

There’s not much time left when India’s squad for the World Cup is set to be announced. It will be another opportunity for Rohit Sharma and company to end Team India’s quest for an ICC trophy after 2013. Various experts have shared their playing 11 and squad for the World Cup.

On the other hand, former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh shared an interesting perspective on Virat Kohli’s batting position depending on the situation.

Harbhajan Singh said, “I believe that Yashasvi Jaiswal could open the innings along with Rohit Sharma, with Virat Kohli batting at number three for India.

“However, I would love to see the left and right combination for India at number three. If the openers play the first six overs, then someone like Shivam Dube can slot at number three, and Virat Kohli could go at number four. We need to play as per the situation and take horses for the course. Virat Kohli is a great player; he has done so much for India. There’s no disrespect, but the team should be given first priority.”.

Team India’s squad for the World Cup is set to be announced in the final week of May, as all teams have been given a deadline of May 1 to submit their squad to the ICC.
